Newcastle United supporters are keen for their club to make a move for Liverpool striker Danny Ings this summer, after it was reported he is set to exit Anfield.
The BBC reported earlier this week that the former Burnley man is seeking more first-team football than what will be available a the Reds next term and is on the verge of an exit.
His career at Liverpool was blighted by knee injuries after winning his big move from Burnley with 43 goals in 130 appearances.
Newcastle are crying out for more firepower next season after netting just 39 times in the English Premier League last term.
Ings is a proven talent in the top-flight and would certainly add depth and variety to Rafa Benitez’s squad, even if they continue their search for a prolific poacher.
Fans certainly appear to be in favour, with a massive 84% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing that Newcastle should move for him.
